Clinical Nurse Manager - Pediatric Emergency Department - Full Time- Nights

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll assume responsibility for unit operations including patient flow, scheduling, education and leadership to a dynamic staff, bringing quality across all aspects of patient care. You'll foster safety, quality and compassion to help advance our uniquely family-oriented approach. 

The start time for this position will be 7pm and the schedule for this position will typically be alternating 3 (12.5 hours shifts) days and 4 days (3 10-hour shifts & 1 7.5-hour shift) per week, 2 full weekend shift a month, can be Saturdays or Sundays. This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department 

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute ED clinical experience 
  • Current New York State registration to practice nursing
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies
  • Previous clinical expertise within the Emergency Department
